A member of another church family we used to attend came into my place of business for a notary. I had heard that he had cancer and it wasn’t operable. While we were talking, I took my wristband off and put it on his arm and explained what it meant. He hugged me and thanked me many times over. As he left he said, “I won’t take it off.”

I was getting fingerprinted (for a potential job) in Jacksonville. A lady was also there. She was getting custody of her 14-year-old niece and 12-year-old nephew. She was only 25. I asked her if she knew Jesus. She said she did and that she was a Christian. I asked her if she had Strong Faith. She said she did. I told her our church was encouraging Strong Faith. And gave her my bracelet. I told her she would have a big responsibility now, to raise the children in the faith. She said she would not take the bracelet off and hugged me. I also invited her to attend church with me. Jacksonville is far away, but who knows.

My son and I were in Texas Roadhouse. Our waitress told us she was happy to have a job there. She was a refugee from Louisiana. I asked her did she know Jesus? She said she was Catholic and missed church because of work. I gave her my bracelet and told her she would need Strong Faith. Guess what … another hug. The bracelets are definitely a happy blessing and easy witnessing tool (and they may be hug machines in disguise).

I gave my band to a friend named Bonnie, to whom I am giving a kidney. The miracle of this is that we matched enough to make the transplant possible. I wanted Bonnie to know that I am trusting God to keep me healthy enough to give a kidney, and I am trusting God to prevent rejection of my kidney by her body after the transplant. I praise God for using me in this way to give Bonnie a longer, stronger life. Pray for Bonnie!
